Duties

• Greet customers warmly and provide knowledgeable assistance on firearms, accessories, and related products
• Conduct product demos to showcase firearm features and safety procedures effectively
• Assist customers with retail sales transactions using the POS (Point of Sale) system, including upselling relevant products
• Manage stock levels by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and merchandising firearms and accessories according to store standards
• Handle cash register operations accurately, including cash handling, cashiering, and cash drawer balancing
• Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and legal requirements related to firearm sales and storage
• Maintain excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries

Skills

• Proven experience in retail sales, especially in firearms.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to educate customers about product features and safety measures
• Familiarity with POS systems, retail math, cash register operations, and cash handling procedures
• Ability to perform basic math accurately for transactions and inventory management
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle sensitive situations professionally
• Experience in conducting product demos and upselling to enhance sales opportunities

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
