Firefighter

The City of Bennettsville has an opening for a Fire Fighter. Applicant must be at least 18 years of age. Applicant should have any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school and have at least one year’s fire service experience. Applicant will respond to emergency fire related situations.

Applicant will be required to successfully complete a physical agility test, and applicant must have a valid S.C. Driver’s License. Certifications required: Firefighter I Certification or the ability to obtain within six (6) months of employment; Certification in CPR and First Aid. Applicant may be required to possess or obtain additional certifications as deemed necessary.

Firefighter will work 24 hour shift.
