Fireplace Installer & Service Technician

FIREPLACE INSTALLER & SERVICE TECHNICIAN Indianapolis, IN | On-site/Field | $23-$24/hr + Piece Rate | $50K-$70K+ earning potential

Position Overview Hands-on field role installing and servicing production-build and custom fireplaces throughout the Indianapolis area. Direct prefab fireplace installation during residential rough-in is strongly preferred.

What You'll Do

• Load and inspect fireplaces, tools, and materials.
• Install and service production-build and custom fireplaces.
• Read installation manuals, job paperwork, and tape measurements.
• Use hand and power tools safely and accurately.
• Work on ladders/rooftops and safely move heavy materials.
• Complete required photos, paperwork, and customer-service steps.

What You'll Bring

• 2+ years of construction, building-trades, installation, or related experience.
• Valid driver's license, 3+ years driving experience, and clean driving record.
• Ability to read a tape measure and operate hand/power tools.
• Comfortable on rooftops and ladders up to approximately 40 feet.
• Able to regularly lift, push, and pull heavy materials.
• Fireplace installation/service experience strongly preferred.

Compensation & Benefits

• $23-$24/hour base.
• Hourly rate or piece rate, whichever is higher.
• First-year earnings may be approximately $50K-$60K; successful installers can earn $70K+ with top performers reaching approximately $90K.
