GAS FIREPLACE INSTALLER

My Fireplace is a growing, family-owned and operated company with over 30 years of experience in the fireplace and HVAC industry. We are looking for a reliable, skilled, and customer-focused Gas Fireplace Installer to join our team on a full-time basis.

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will have experience installing gas fireplaces; however, we are willing to train the right individual who has the appropriate qualifications, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn.

Required Qualifications

• Valid G2 Gas Technician license — required
• Valid Ontario Driver’s Licence
• Clean/reliable driver’s abstract
• Previous gas fireplace installation experience is an asset
• Working at Heights training is an asset
• Strong knowledge of workplace health and safety practices
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Strong problem-solving and time-management abilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable, punctual, and dependable
• Professional appearance and positive attitude

Key Responsibilities

• Install gas fireplaces and related products safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard
• Complete installations in accordance with manufacturer specifications, applicable codes, and company standards
• Ensure all work is completed safely and professionally
• Explain proper operation, maintenance, and care of fireplace equipment to homeowners
• Provide a professional and courteous customer experience at every appointment
• Collect customer payments on site when required
• Complete work orders, paperwork, and other required documentation accurately
• Submit completed paperwork daily in accordance with company procedures
• Represent My Fireplace in a professional, knowledgeable, and customer-service-oriented manner

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$27.00 per hour
