Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Firewall Engineer to implement, configure, manage, and troubleshoot enterprise firewall and network security infrastructure. The candidate should have strong hands-on experience with FortiGate, Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, or Check Point firewalls, along with an understanding of Routing & Switching.

Key Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and maintain enterprise firewall solutions.

• Implement and manage firewall policies, access-control rules, NAT, and security configurations.

• Configure and troubleshoot FortiGate and other enterprise firewall platforms.

• Work with Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, and Check Point firewall technologies.

• Support Routing & Switching implementation and troubleshooting.

• Monitor firewall performance, investigate security incidents, and resolve connectivity issues.

• Perform firewall upgrades, migrations, configuration changes, and maintenance.

• Review firewall rules and support network security hardening.

• Collaborate with network, security, and infrastructure teams to maintain secure connectivity.

• Document firewall configurations, changes, and troubleshooting procedures.

Mandatory Skills

• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in firewall engineering.

• Hands-on deployment and implementation experience with enterprise firewalls.

• Experience with FortiGate.

• Experience with at least one of the following: Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, or Check Point Firewall.

• Knowledge of Routing & Switching.

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Good-to-Have Skills

• Zscaler Proxy.

• Other enterprise proxy tools.

• Automation tools and scripting.

• Linux operating systems.
