Job Summary

We are looking for a Firmware Developer with hands-on experience in embedded systems and IoT products. The candidate will be responsible for developing, debugging, testing, and integrating firmware for connected devices.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain embedded firmware for IoT and home automation products.
• Work with ESP32, ESP-IDF and FreeRTOS.
• Develop firmware using Embedded C/C++.
• Implement and debug communication protocols such as UART, SPI, I²C and GPIO.
• Work with wireless technologies including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth/BLE and Thread.
• Implement and maintain OTA firmware updates with appropriate security measures.
• Integrate firmware with sensors, peripherals and hardware components.
• Perform hardware-software integration, debugging and troubleshooting.
• Participate in prototype bring-up, testing and validation of embedded products.
• Collaborate with hardware and software teams to develop reliable production-ready products.

Required Skills

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in embedded firmware development.
• Strong knowledge of Embedded C/C++.
• Hands-on experience with ESP32 and ESP-IDF.
• Good understanding of FreeRTOS.
• Experience with Wi-Fi, BLE/Bluetooth and IoT communication.
• Good knowledge of UART, SPI, I²C and GPIO.
• Experience in firmware debugging and hardware-software integration.
• Understanding of OTA updates and embedded system security.
• Good problem-solving and debugging skills.

Good to Have

• Experience with Thread / Matter.
• MQTT or other IoT communication protocols.
• Experience with bootloaders and OTA/FOTA.
• Experience working on home automation, smart devices or IoT products.
• Knowledge of Git and embedded debugging tools.
