We are an international company with a European-style work culture and employees from all over the world. Over the past few years we've built up a global following within the coffee industry, and are now poised to expand into new market segments.
Designed in Denmark. Made in Taiwan. For the love of coffee.
【About the role】
We are looking for a Firmware Engineer to expand our embedded engineering capacity, bridging physical roaster hardware with our digital ecosystem. Operating from our Bangkok office, you will develop embedded software systems and perform integration and rigorous testing. You will collaborate closely with another Firmware Engineer and with our electrical, mechanical and software engineering teams to ensure high product reliability.
【Your key responsibilities】
- Design and optimize real-time C/C++ firmware for ARM Cortex-M microcontrollers.
- Implement and calibrate drivers for ADC, PWM, I2C, SPI, UART, and thermal sensors to enable high-precision data capture, in collaboration with Electrical Engineers.
- Design efficient firmware architectures that minimize latency and ensure ultra-reliable thermal safety.
- Develop robust communication protocols (USB/Bluetooth/Serial) to sync roaster telemetry seamlessly with web / cloud apps.
- Define hardware-to-software API contracts with web/desktop teams and maintain Git version control releases.
- Troubleshoot physical circuits and firmware using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and JTAG/SWD debuggers.
- Conduct code reviews, implement fail-safe procedures, and fix hardware edge-case bugs to maintain bulletproof reliability.
- Work closely with mechanical, electrical, and software engineers to bring new roaster hardware concepts from prototype to production, or resolve any product issues.
【Your qualifications】
- 2-5 years in embedded systems and firmware development.
- C/C++ proficiency for embedded processors.
- Experience or understanding of firmware design tools and languages.
- Understanding of basic testing, coding, and debugging procedures.
- Business-level English communication and excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- Robust analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of Cortex M3 / M4 / M7 micro-controllers is a plus.
【Why join us】
- 39-hour work week with flexible working hours
- Progressive annual leave scheme according to tenure, starting with 8 days during your first year and up to 15 days upon completing 5 years of employment
- Health and well-being subsidies
- Unlimited freshly roasted coffee, snacks and fruits to fuel your energy
