Location: Bangkok
Working Arrangement: Hybrid – 2 days in the office/week
Salary: Up to 120,000 – 200,000 THB + Benefits

We are partnering with an innovative technology company developing next-generation connected devices that combine embedded technology, AI, and real-time connectivity.

They are looking for a Firmware Engineer to join their engineering team and take ownership of firmware development for connected wearable devices, with a strong focus on connectivity, power efficiency, data transmission, and hardware optimization.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and optimize firmware for connected embedded devices and wearable products.
• Implement on-device inference and optimize embedded systems for efficient processing.
• Optimize battery consumption, thermal performance, and overall device efficiency.
• Design and implement reliable data transmission protocols between embedded devices and connected systems.
• Work closely with hardware engineers to upgrade and improve PCB designs for future production batches.
• Support cellular connectivity solutions, including LTE, SIM, and eSIM technologies.
• Evaluate and implement both embedded eSIM and physical SIM solutions where appropriate.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems, or a related field.

• 5+ years of professional experience in embedded systems or firmware engineering.

• Strong proficiency in C/C++ for embedded systems.

• Strong experience with Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE).

• Experience with cellular IoT technologies such as LTE-M, NB-IoT, LTE, or similar cellular connectivity.

• Experience integrating cellular modems and SIM/eSIM solutions.

• Strong understanding of embedded communication protocols such as UART, SPI, I²C, and related interfaces.

• Familiarity with PCB schematics and ability to collaborate closely with electrical/hardware engineers.

• Good Command of English**
