Firmware / Software Design Engineer - R&D (CDBU)

Objective:

• Participate in firmware design by assisting with the development and debugging of embedded firmware for power electronics hardware in AI, datacenter, networking, telecom, industrial, and medical applications. Candidate will be responsible for setting technical standards, driving innovation, and leading high-impact projects. Candidate will have opportunity to work closely with world class customers from Silicon Valley or Europe.

Job Description:

• Review the customer specification.
• Lead firmware development for power electronics hardware in AI, datacenter, networking, telecom, industrial, and medical applications.
• Troubleshoot and working on power electronics product.
• Architect and design scalable, high-performance firmware solutions.
• Collaborate with electrical engineer, mechanical engineer, test engineer to ensure design success until reliably manufacturing

Qualification:

• Bachelor/Master Degree in Electronics/Electrical/Computer relate field.
• Knowledge of Embedded system, Microcontroller (C/C++ programming). such as STM32, Microchip, TI, or other MCUs
• Knowledge of firmware architecture, including bootloader design and secure boot (image signing and verification)
• Knowledge of programming Python/Visual Studio VB, C#, C++
• Knowledge of UART/I2C/Modbus/SPI/CAN protocol or other.
• Good to have: knowledge of Linux operating systems and kernel development
• Good to have: knowledge of TCP/IP and networking (protocols, routing, switches, routers, firewalls)
• Verbal and written communications skills in English.
