Responsibilities

• Perform manual functional, integration, regression, and exploratory validation of in-cabin audio, streaming, and connectivity features on test benches and in vehicles.
• Create and maintain test cases, test plans, documentation, and coverage tracking; identify and close testing gaps across feature tracks.
• Reproduce and isolate defects through log collection and analysis using Wireshark, DLT, ADB, HCI/Bluetooth traces, and vehicle logs.
• Own field-issue triage and defect management in JIRA, including reproduction steps, severity assessment, fix verification, and regression follow-up.
• Maintain release-ready test infrastructure and collaborate with firmware, product, diagnostics, fleet-support, and integration teams on feature readiness and issue resolution.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field, plus 8+ years of hands-on firmware or embedded-product validation/QA experience.
• Demonstrated expertise developing and executing test plans and cases, closing coverage gaps, and managing defects through the complete lifecycle.
• Hands-on validation experience with at least one connectivity domain, such as Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, LTE/5G, GNSS, or vehicle networking; Bluetooth audio-profile experience is preferred.
• Strong debugging and root-cause analysis skills, including proficiency with Wireshark, DLT, ADB, and similar tools, as well as experience triaging production or field issues.
• Python scripting skills for automating repetitive checks and parsing logs; comfortable working in Linux/Ubuntu and with JIRA/Confluence in agile release environments.
