First Aider

Crowdsafe Medical is looking for reliable and professional First Aiders to join our matchday medical team at Peterborough United Football Club.

This is a great opportunity for qualified First Aiders looking for flexible, casual work in a busy football environment.

The Role

You will work as part of the matchday medical team, providing first aid support to supporters, staff and visitors throughout Peterborough United home fixtures.

Your duties will include:

• Providing first aid within your level of training and competence
• Responding to medical and first aid incidents around the stadium
• Assessing and supporting people who become injured or unwell
• Escalating incidents to senior medical staff or emergency services when required
• Working alongside other First Aiders, medical staff, security and stewarding teams
• Completing basic patient and incident documentation
• Maintaining patient dignity and confidentiality
• Following matchday briefings and Crowdsafe Medical procedures

Shifts

Shifts are typically around 5 hours per match.

Most fixtures take place on weekends, with some midweek evening games throughout the football season.

This is a casual role, so hours will vary depending on Peterborough United's home fixture schedule.

What We're Looking For

Applicants should:

• Hold a valid recognised First Aid qualification
• Be confident dealing with members of the public
• Be calm and professional when responding to incidents
• Have good communication and teamwork skills
• Be reliable and punctual
• Be comfortable working in a busy football stadium environment

Previous experience working at sporting events or providing event first aid is desirable but not essential.

Successful applicants will be required to complete Crowdsafe Medical's recruitment, qualification checks and onboarding process before deployment.

Pay: £15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5.0 – 15.0 per week
