First Article Technician

• Salary up to $3000
• Monday - Friday ; 815am - 530pm
• Location: Woodlands Loop

Responsibilities

• Conduct First Article Inspection on parts produced from project, new tooling, transfer tooling, ECN tooling or repaired tooling.
• Measure tested sample with measuring and test equipment as per product drawing requirement.
• Tabulate measured data into FAIR (First Article Inspection Report) for submission to customer
• Liaise with inhouse departments to solve the FA related activity
• Generate Measuring Instruction for new part.
• Support QC to prepare FA measurement program.

Requirements

• At least 3 to 5 years working experience in First Article, plastic injection molding industry, quality environment preferred.
• Able to understand / interpret drawing, and have knowledge of gd&t (geometric dimensioning & tolerancing).
• Able to operate cmm (coordinate measuring machine, vmm (vision measurement machine), and qc equipment (caliper, micrometer, height gauge, etc)
