First Assistant Greenkeeper

SALARY NEGOTIABLE FOR THE RIGHT CANDIDATE

East Brighton Golf Club is looking to recruit a First Assistant Greenkeeper.

We believe this is the perfect place for a passionate individual who is looking to develop their skills and be a part of our long-term plans to push the course to becoming one of the best in the region. Working with a close-knit team, you will be expected to support the Head Greenkeeper and Deputy in the development of both the team and the golf course.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ability to complete all daily turf maintenance tasks to high a standard.
• To be able to achieve a high level of attention to detail in all tasks being undertaken
• To be highly motivated with a strong work ethic and able to work as part of a team
• To communicate effectively with colleagues, supervisors and members of the club
• To maintain healthy and safe working practices at all times

Ideal Competencies:

• NVQ Level 2 essential, PA1, PA2, PA6 desirable.
• Be a motivated individual with a keen eye for detail.
• Good time management and wiliness to work in all conditions.
• Knowledge of the game of golf.

This is a full-time position with a contracted 40 hour per week schedule with rotated weekends - you will report to the Head Greenkeeper, Ciaran Brown.
