First Nations Retail Banking Trainee

Looking to start a career in banking and financial services while gaining a nationally recognised qualification? We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Banking Branch Trainee to join our client in East Gippsland. This full-time traineeship offers the opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience while completing a Certificate III in Financial Services.

About the Role

As part of a supportive branch team, you will develop practical skills and experience across a range of banking and customer service activities, including:

• Assisting customers with their everyday banking needs
• Responding to customer enquiries and providing outstanding service
• Building strong relationships with customers
• Learning about banking products and services
• Assisting with customer requests and resolving issues
• Supporting the day-to-day operations of the branch
• Identifying opportunities to connect customers with suitable products and services

About You

To be successful in this role, you will be:

• Friendly, professional and customer focused
• A confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills
• Reliable, motivated and eager to learn
• Interested in developing a long-term career in banking or financial services
• Available to work full-time hours, Monday to Friday
• Previous customer service experience is highly regarded but not essential.
