First Response Advisor

Emerald Law is looking to grow and hire First Response Advisors to join our team.

The role of first response is extremely fast paced but will allow you to build upon previous customer service/law experience and progress.

We are seeking experienced customer service representatives or recent law graduates who will be able to act as the clients first introduction to the company, and build rapport with them, following their claim up until the file is in the relevant department.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• To provide an excellent client experience by way of a friendly telephone manner, willingness to help, and active listening.
• Be able to take full instructions on a multitude of claim types including personal injury, housing disrepair, private client matters, immigration, bank fraud, tenancy deposit claims and more.
• To progress matters in priority order ensuring that cases are allocated to a file handler as quickly as possible
• To provide clear communication to clients and/or their representatives.
• To drive your own development by actively seeking development opportunities and continuing to excel.
• To take responsibility for your own actions ensuring you keep up to date with all communications, processes, and procedures.

Experience and Knowledge:

• Previous experience working within a telephone based customer service/contact centre environment or within law preferred but not essential.
• An ability to in work in a fast paced environment.
• Exceptional speaking and listening skills.
• Ability to explain and advise effectively.
• An ability to work effectively with people across a wide range of levels and responsibilities within the firm and beyond.
• Good IT/Keyboard skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Teamwork skills

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £24,000.00 per year
