Fish Cutters

We are looking for an experienced Fish Cutter to join our seafood processing team in Mississauga. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience cutting, cleaning, filleting, and preparing various types of fish while maintaining the highest standards of food safety, quality, and productivity.

Key Responsibilities

• Cut, trim, clean, fillet, and portion various types of fresh and frozen fish.
• Remove bones, scales, skin, and waste efficiently.
• Inspect seafood products to ensure freshness and quality.
• Prepare products according to customer and production specifications.
• Operate knives and fish processing equipment safely.
• Follow HACCP, GMP, and food safety regulations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area.
• Meet daily production targets while maintaining quality standards.
• Assist with packaging and labeling of seafood products as required.

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of experience as a Fish Cutter or Seafood Processor.
• Strong knife skills and experience with filleting various species of fish.
• Knowledge of seafood handling and processing techniques.
• Understanding of food safety, sanitation, and hygiene practices.
• Ability to work in a refrigerated or cold environment.
• Ability to lift up to 25 kg (55 lbs).
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic English communication skills.
