Reporting to the General Manager Aquaculture, this is a key leadership role with the opportunity to influence business strategy, improve operational performance and deliver strong fish health, welfare and production outcomes.
You'll lead a team of technical specialists, work closely with operational leaders and use data and insights to identify opportunities for improvement across the business.
Whether your experience is in aquaculture or another complex primary production environment, this is an exciting opportunity to bring your expertise to one of Australia's leading aquaculture businesses.
About the Role
As Fish Production Manager, you'll lead the development and delivery of strategies that optimise fish performance across our freshwater and marine operations.
Working closely with leaders across the business, you'll:
- Lead a team of technical specialists across fish health, welfare, feeding and production performance.
- Drive strategies that improve fish growth, health, welfare and overall production outcomes.
- Partner with operational leaders to identify opportunities, solve challenges and improve performance.
- Use data, research and industry insights to guide decisions and support continuous improvement.
- Influence business planning and strategic decisions to balance productivity, sustainability and commercial outcomes.
- Champion innovation, biosecurity and best practice across our aquaculture operations.
About You

You enjoy solving complex problems, challenging the way things are done and bringing people together to achieve better outcomes.
You'll bring:
- Proven leadership experience in aquaculture, primary production or another complex production environment.
- Strong commercial awareness and the ability to connect technical performance with business outcomes.
- Experience developing strategies, improving performance and leading change.
- The ability to analyse data, make informed decisions and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- A collaborative leadership style with a genuine focus on developing people and building strong teams.
