Fit-Out Foreman

1. Job Purpose

The Fit-Out Foreman is responsible for supervising and coordinating daily site activities related to interior fit-out works, ensuring that all activities are executed according to approved drawings, project specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and project schedules. The role involves managing site workers and subcontractors, monitoring work progress, and ensuring the timely and efficient completion of fit-out works.

2. Key Responsibilities

A. Site Supervision and Execution

• Supervise and coordinate daily interior fit-out activities at project sites, including luxury villas, residential buildings, commercial spaces, and other assigned projects.
• Oversee installation and execution of gypsum partitions, false ceilings, painting, tiling, flooring, joinery, carpentry, doors, and other finishing works.
• Coordinate MEP-related fit-out activities with electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other specialist teams.
• Ensure all works are carried out according to approved shop drawings, material specifications, method statements, and project requirements.
• Allocate tasks to workers and subcontractors and monitor their productivity and performance.
• Coordinate site measurements, material requirements.

B. Quality Control

• Inspect completed and ongoing works to ensure compliance with approved drawings and required quality standards.
• Identify defects, discrepancies, and workmanship issues and ensure corrective actions are implemented promptly.
• Coordinate with site engineers and quality control personnel for inspections and approvals.
• Ensure proper finishing details, alignment, levels, dimensions, and overall workmanship, particularly on high-end and luxury projects.

C. Manpower and Material Management

• Monitor attendance, productivity, discipline, and compliance with site instructions.
• Coordinate with the site engineer and storekeeper regarding material requirements, deliveries, and availability.
• Minimize material wastage and ensure proper handling, storage, and protection of materials, tools, and equipment.
• Ensure that workers and subcontractors have the necessary tools, equipment, and instructions to complete their tasks efficiently.

3. Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum 7 years of proven experience in interior fit-out and finishing works within the construction industry.
• Previous experience working on luxury villas.
• Strong practical knowledge of gypsum works, ceilings, painting, tiling, flooring, joinery, carpentry, and general finishing activities.
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings, shop drawings, and technical specifications.
• Good knowledge of site safety procedures, quality standards, and construction practices in the UAE.
• Ability to communicate effectively with site engineers, project managers, subcontractors, and workers.

Pay: AED1,800.00 - AED5,900.00 per month
