FIT-OUT PROJECT ENGINEER

About the role

FOODEE GLOBAL CONCEPTS is seeking a FIT-OUT PROJECT ENGINEER to join our dynamic team in Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in the successful design, planning, and execution of restaurant and hospitality venue fit-outs. As FIT-OUT PROJECT ENGINEER, you will be responsible for overseeing the technical aspects of venue construction and renovation projects, ensuring they are completed to the highest standards, on time, and within budget. This role is essential to delivering exceptional dining and hospitality experiences to our guests and maintaining our reputation for excellence in the hospitality and tourism sector.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage all technical aspects of fit-out projects from concept to completion, including planning, design reviews, and on-site supervision
• Prepare detailed project specifications, drawings, and documentation in collaboration with architects and designers
• Oversee contractor performance and ensure compliance with project timelines, budgets, and quality standards
• Conduct regular site inspections and maintain comprehensive project records and documentation
• Manage project budgets, cost estimates, and procurement of materials and equipment
• Ensure all work complies with relevant building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards
• Liaise with stakeholders, including designers, contractors, suppliers, and management, to ensure effective communication and coordination
• Identify and resolve technical issues and challenges that arise during the fit-out process
• Prepare progress reports and present findings to senior management and project teams
• Maintain health and safety standards on all project sites and ensure compliance with occupational safety requirements

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering,Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in fit-out project management, construction supervision, or related roles within the hospitality industry
• Proficiency in project management software and design tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar applications
• Strong knowledge of building codes, safety standards, and construction best practices
• Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders
• Proven ability to manage budgets and control costs effectively
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality and excellence
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions
• Knowledge of hospitality and restaurant design principles is highly desirable
• Familiarity with Philippine building regulations and local construction practices is preferred
