Key Responsibilities

· Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, working effectively as part of a close-knit team.

· Build and maintain strong relationships with existing members and prospective customers, delivering outstanding customer service at all times.

· Supervise activities on the gym floor and ensure all equipment is used safely and in accordance with gym procedures.

· Carry out routine cleaning and day-to-day maintenance of gym equipment, facilities, and fittings to maintain high standards.

· Support membership sales, lead generation, and member retention activities.

· Maintain accurate customer records and complete administrative duties as required.

· Ensure the gym remains clean, safe, welcoming, and fully operational at all times.

· Undertake additional duties as reasonably requested by the Management to support the effective operation of the business.

Essential (Required)

• Level 2 Gym Instructor qualification.

Desirable

• A valid First Aid qualification is desirable; however, training may be provided for the right candidate.

As a member of our team, you will

Work 34 hours per week on a shift rota covering staffed opening hours: Monday to Friday: 8:00am to 8:00pm Weekends: 10:00am to 6:00pm. Including weekends and bank holidays as required.

· Maintain high standards of personal appearance, professionalism, and hygiene at all times.

· Work across both reception and the gym floor, providing a welcoming and supportive experience for all members.

· Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the gym's equipment and facilities.

· Ensure all gym areas are clean, safe, presentable, and maintained to an excellent standard.

· Report and assist with the resolution of equipment faults and facility maintenance issues.

· Provide outstanding customer service and support members in achieving their goals.

Pay: From £13.21 per hour

Expected hours: 34.0 per week
