Fitness Instructor

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Fitness Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading engaging fitness classes, providing personalized instruction, and motivating clients to achieve their health and wellness goals. This role offers an opportunity to inspire others while fostering a positive and energetic environment. Fluency in English is required; bilingual skills in French or other languages are a plus. The Fitness Instructor will play a key role in enhancing client satisfaction through excellent communication, leadership, and customer service skills.

Duties

• Lead group fitness classes tailored to diverse client needs.
• Develop and implement effective workout plans that promote safety and progress.
• Provide clear instructions and demonstrations to ensure proper technique during exercises.
• Motivate clients to stay committed to their fitness routines and achieve their personal goals.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workout environment at all times.
• Foster a welcoming atmosphere that encourages participation and builds community.
• Communicate effectively with clients regarding class schedules, program updates, and health advice.
• Uphold professional standards of conduct, safety procedures, and customer service excellence.

Requirements

• Proven experience in teaching or leading fitness classes; certifications such as ACE, NASM, canfitpro, or ACSM are preferred.
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate diverse groups of clients.
• Exceptional time management skills to organize classes and manage client schedules efficiently.
• Outstanding customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends if required.
• Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure while maintaining professionalism.
• Prior experience in teaching or coaching is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for qualified candidates committed to learning and growth within the role.

Pay: From $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 1.0 – 4.0 per week
