Job Title- Fitout Estimator

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Civil Fit-Out Estimator to prepare accurate cost estimates, quantity take-offs, and commercial proposals for interior fit-out and civil works projects. The candidate will be responsible for reviewing drawings, specifications, BOQs, and tender documents and developing competitive and commercially viable estimates.

Key Responsibilities

• Review architectural, civil, structural, and MEP drawings, specifications, BOQs, and tender documents.
• Prepare detailed quantity take-offs for civil and interior fit-out works.
• Prepare accurate cost estimates for materials, labor, equipment, subcontractors, and other project requirements.
• Prepare and review BOQs, rate analysis, and pricing schedules.
• Obtain and compare quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Evaluate material and labor costs and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Prepare tender submissions and commercial proposals within required deadlines.
• Coordinate with the design, procurement, project, and commercial teams to clarify technical and commercial requirements.
• Conduct site visits when required to assess existing conditions and project requirements.
• Analyze project specifications and identify exclusions, qualifications, risks, and potential variations.
• Assist in preparing budgets, variations, and cost estimates during project execution.
• Maintain a database of material, labor, and subcontractor rates.
• Monitor market prices and maintain updated cost information.
• Ensure estimates are accurate, competitive, and aligned with project specifications.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 5–7 years of UAE experience in civil construction, interior fit-out, or estimation.
• Strong knowledge of civil and interior fit-out works, including partitions, ceilings, flooring, painting, masonry, plastering, joinery, and related works.
• Good knowledge of BOQ preparation, quantity take-off, rate analysis, and cost estimation.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Excel; knowledge of estimation/QS software is an advantage.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong analytical, numerical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work under tight tender deadlines.

Preferred Experience

Experience in commercial, residential, Villas fit-out projects is preferred. UAE experience is an advantage.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED10,000.00 - AED13,000.00 per month
