Hydroil Pty Ltd is an Australian manufacturer of the highest quality hydraulic and pneumatic cylinders since 1964. The nature of the business is design, manufacture and repair of hydraulic and pneumatic cylinders supporting multiple industries such as mining, construction, transport, energy, automation and customised technology for industrial markets within Australia and globally.

We are seeking an energetic and team orientated Fitter based at our Woodville North plant.
This is a full-time permanent position and available for an immediate start.

About the role

This is a primarily workshop-based role focused on hydraulic and mechanical repairs, fault finding and component overhauls.

You will be responsible for:

• Maintenance and repair of hydraulic and mechanical systems
• Hydraulic circuit fault finding and diagnostics
• Hydraulic and mechanical assembly and fitting
• Repair and overhaul of pumps, motors, cylinders and associated components
• Maintaining strong quality and safety standards
• Preparing clear and accurate service reports (training provided)

About you

• Trade Qualified (Mechanical Fitter, Fitter & Turner or similar)
• Strong Diagnostic and complex problem-solving skills
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings
• High attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic and ability to work within a team
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Current Driver's License
• Essential personal attributes include reliability, honesty and integrity in your approach to your work, and a team player attitude, sharing information and willingly assisting others to achieve common objectives.

Benefits

• Work a 38hr, 4 day working week, 6.45am to 4.45pm Monday to Thursday.
• Be available to work overtime on Friday and Saturday from time to time.
