What they need
About the role
Responsible for assembling, installing, fitting, and maintaining mechanical components and equipment.
Key responsibilities
- Assemble and fit mechanical parts according to drawings and specifications
- Measure, mark, cut, and align components accurately
- Assist with machinery installation, maintenance, and repairs
- Identify mechanical defects and report issues to the supervisor
- Use hand tools and workshop equipment safely
- Ensure all fitted components are properly secured and aligned
About you
- Minimum of secondary school education or relevant technical training
- Previous experience as a mechanical fitter is an advantage
- Basic knowledge of mechanical components, tools, and equipment
- Able to read basic technical drawings is an advantage
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Physically fit, responsible, and willing to work overtime when required
