1. Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Fitter to work on our EV Charger Project. The candidate will be responsible for mechanical fitment, component mounting, mechanical rework, assembly, and finishing of EV charger units and their enclosures as per engineering drawings and quality standards.

2. Key Responsibilities

Perform mechanical fitment and assembly of EV charger components and enclosures.

Carry out component mounting, bracket fitting, and hardware installation.

Perform mechanical rework, modifications, and adjustments as per engineering instructions.

Fit sheet metal panels, doors, covers, mounting plates, and structural components.

Use hand tools and power tools such as spanners, screwdrivers, drills, and torque tools.

Perform drilling, tapping, deburring, filing, and minor grinding wherever required and authorized.

Ensure proper alignment, leveling, gap, and fitment of mechanical components.

Read and follow basic mechanical drawings, assembly drawings, and work instructions.

Check dimensions, fitment, and workmanship to meet quality requirements.

Identify fitment issues and report defects to the supervisor or engineer.

Coordinate with electrical and production teams during EV charger assembly.

Maintain tools, equipment, and workplace cleanliness.

Follow safety procedures and use appropriate PPE during work.

3. Required Skills

Basic knowledge of mechanical fitting, assembly, and component mounting.

Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely.

Basic understanding of mechanical drawings and dimensions.

Knowledge of sheet metal components, brackets, fasteners, and mounting arrangements.

Ability to perform mechanical rework and rectify fitment issues.

Attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Willingness to learn EV charger assembly processes.

4. Qualification & Experience

ITI Fitter / ITI Mechanical

Freshers and candidates with 0–2 years of experience can apply.

Experience in sheet metal assembly, electrical panel assembly, industrial equipment assembly, or enclosure fitment will be an advantage.

5. Preferred Candidate Profile

Hands-on experience or basic practical knowledge of mechanical fitting.

Ability to work as part of a production or project team.

Disciplined, hardworking, and safety-conscious.

Willing to work according to project deadlines and production requirements.
