Job Responsibilities

• Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and repair of industrial equipment, machinery, pumps, motors, valves, and pipelines.
• Fitting and Assembly: Carry out fitting, dismantling, assembly, and installation of mechanical components and equipment.
• Pipeline Maintenance: Inspect, repair, and maintain utility and process pipelines, flanges, joints, and fittings.
• Preventive Maintenance: Assist in preventive maintenance activities to ensure smooth and reliable equipment operation.
• Breakdown Maintenance: Identify mechanical faults and perform necessary repairs to minimize equipment downtime.
• Equipment Inspection: Check equipment alignment, leakage, vibration, and other mechanical abnormalities.
• Tools and Equipment: Use hand tools, power tools, and fitting tools safely and efficiently.
• Safety and Compliance: Follow plant safety procedures, permit-to-work requirements, PPE guidelines, and applicable GMP practices.
• Documentation: Maintain maintenance records and report equipment faults to the maintenance supervisor.

Required Experience and Skills

• ITI in Fitter trade or equivalent technical qualification preferred.
• Experience in mechanical maintenance within the API pharmaceutical, chemical, or process manufacturing industry preferred.
• Practical knowledge of pumps, valves, pipelines, flanges, and industrial equipment.
• Ability to perform equipment dismantling, fitting, assembly, and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of industrial safety procedures and maintenance practices.
