Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Fitter/Fabricator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling, fabricating, and installing metal components with precision and efficiency. Your expertise will contribute to the successful completion of diverse manufacturing and construction projects, ensuring safety and quality standards are met at every stage.

Duties

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide fabrication and assembly processes
• Use hand tools and power tools to cut, shape, and assemble metal parts according to specifications
• Operate welding equipment including MIG (Metal Inert Gas), TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas), and plasma cutting tools to join or cut materials effectively
• Perform rigging tasks such as crane operation and securement of heavy components during fabrication or installation
• Utilize measuring tools like calipers and basic math skills to ensure precise dimensions and tolerances
• Set up and operate machinery such as press brake machines for bending sheet metal or other fabrication tasks
• Conduct assembly of structural steel, ductwork, pressure vessels, or storage tanks following detailed schematics and safety protocols

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in manufacturing or construction environments
• Proficiency in welding techniques including MIG, TIG, and general welding practices
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
• Experience with rigging, crane operation, machining, plasma cutting, and press brake machinery
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, calipers, and other measurement devices
• Knowledge of ductwork installation and assembly procedures
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks
• Valid forklift certification is a plus for material handling efficiency
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in assembly processes
• Ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment while adhering to all safety regulations

Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour
