Fixed Asset Specialist

Understand worldwide accounting operations.

Maintain in-country and US Fixed Asset subledgers to accurate reflect monthly activity.

Adheres to guidelines for acquisition, maintenance, retention and disposition of fixed assets and associated records.

Maintains perpetual inventory records in the fixed asset management system.

Performs basic periodic system functions such as calculating period depreciation, projecting depreciation amounts into future periods.

Participates in the development of process improvements that benefit the account department overall functions.

Coordinates and performs scheduled and periodic physical inventories by locating and counting assets, loading field inventory results, and reconciling exceptions.

Review and prepare of monthly reconciliations. consolidated overview of company-wide reconciliations.

Account set up general ledger, fixed asset account configuration.

Assist during monthly close with push down Journal entries such as Depreciation, Asset Transfers, Disposals.

Communicates standardized practices in both English and Spanish languages as appropriate with all warehouse clubs and functions in Latin America Caribbean and Colombia.
