About Us

M5 is a management consulting firm specializing in Fixed Operations for automotive dealerships and OEM manufacturers. Our consultants work side by side with dealers, general managers, fixed ops directors, and service and parts leaders to improve performance, profitability, and customer retention. Our training and workshop curriculum is built in-house and proven in the field.

The Role

You’ll be on the road, working inside client dealerships and delivering training across the country. Recommendations aren’t the finish line here. You’ll diagnose what’s holding an operation back, then work with the team to put change into practice. This role requires 100% travel, so you should be energized by life on the road and the variety of people and stores it puts you in front of. This is a sales position, but not in the traditional sense. Your product is: 1) yourself as an asset to the client, both present and future 2) change!

What You’ll Do

o Assess service, parts, and collision operations and identify opportunities for growth and improvement

o Lead hands-on implementation of new processes, workflows, and performance standards

o Coach managers, advisors, and fixed ops leaders through change on the floor and in the office

o Deliver engaging workshops and training sessions to dealership and OEM audiences

o Track KPIs, measure the results of each change, and report progress to clients

o Build lasting client relationships rooted in trust and results

What You Bring

o [10+] years of Fixed Ops experience in a dealership

o A student of the business.

o You’re endlessly curious, you keep learning, and you stay ahead of how fixed ops is changing

o Willing to learn our business – the process of Implementing change

o Ability to sell the vision of change

o A self-starter

o Strong presentation skills. You can command a room, from a service drive team to a boardroom of GMs, and make complex ideas land

o Experience with Microsoft: Excel, Word, and Power Point

o Experience with dealership DMS’s

o A track record of implementing change. You know that people resist change, and you know how to earn buy-in, hold teams accountable, and drive new habits until they become the standard

o A genuine desire to teach, coach, and help others succeed

o Willingness and ability to travel full-time

o Potential earnings of $150,000 to over $250,000 plus depending on your desire

Pay: $150,000.00 - $250,000.00 per year
