Fixed Term Driver / Storeperson

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Driver/ Storeperson to join our team on a fixed term basis. Initially for a 3-month period as we grow and increase our delivery routes. If successful, there may be an opportunity for the role to extend.

Value Tyres Ltd (VTL) is a NZ owned national organisation and a recognised leader in the automotive industry as a tyre importer/wholesaler and distributor of the Premium Tier One Products Hankook & Laufenn.

As a Driver/Storeperson, you will play a crucial role in supporting the operations of our branch. You will be responsible for delivering tyres to customers, assisting with warehouse duties, and ensuring the efficient flow of goods in and out of the warehouse.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Deliver items safely and on time to clients and businesses
• Receive, check, unpack, and store stock
• Meet delivery deadlines and warehouse KPIs
• Pick and pack customer orders accurately
• Complete documentation for delivery, stock and orders
• Load/unload deliveries manually and with a forklift
• Supporting warehouse operations and general distribution tasks
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient work environment

What You’ll Need:

• Physical fitness and ability to safely lift loads up to 20kg
• A strong work ethic and willingness to pitch in wherever needed
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• A can-do attitude and strong work ethic
• Dispatching/coordinating experience (a plus)
• A full, clean driver’s license (Class 1 minimum)
