Fixed-Term Part-Time isite Consultant

About the role

As an isite Consultant, you'll be helping visitors make the most of their time in the Bay of Plenty while also identifying opportunities to sell experiences, activities, accommodation, transport and retail products that match what they're looking for. This is a fixed-term part-time position from October 2026 through to the end of April 2027, covering the busy summer and cruise season. The role will be rostered across Tauranga and Mount Maunganui isite locations, with weekend and public holiday work required at times, particularly during peak periods and cruise days.

Key responsibilities

• Providing friendly, knowledgeable and personalised visitor information
• Converting visitor enquiries into bookings and sales
• Recommending and booking activities, attractions, accommodation and transport
• Identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products and experiences
• Processing bookings, payments and retail sales accurately
• Promoting local tourism products and experiences with confidence and enthusiasm
• Providing excellent customer service across Tauranga and Mount Maunganui isite locations
• Supporting cruise visitors during the busy cruise season
• Building strong relationships with local tourism operators and businesses
• Working confidently with booking, POS and visitor information systems

• Can multitask and stay calm when things get busy
• Good computer and administration skills
