Responsibilities

• Safely direct vehicle and pedestrian traffic around active construction zones using standardized hand signals or signage
• Assist with site setup, including moving materials, tools, and equipment as needed
• Support towing operators with tasks such as guiding traffic or preparing work areas
• Maintain clear communication with team members to coordinate daily tasks effectively
• Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment at all times
• Conduct routine inspections to identify potential hazards and report them promptly
• Boosting vehicles and performing light services (roadside tire changes/battery changes)
• Cleaning shop while there are no service/flagger calls

Skills

• Ability to operate or learn towing equipment operation safely and efficiently
• Prior experience or familiarity with towing processes is a plus
• Flagger/towing experience, including knowledge of site safety procedures and basic labour tasks
• Strong communication skills to effectively direct traffic and coordinate with team members
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, lift, and perform manual labour throughout the workday
• Attention to detail for safety inspections and adherence to project guidelines
• Willingness to learn new skills and take on diverse responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work in Fort Mcmurray climate

Pay: $16.69-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
