Responsibilities

• Safely operate flatbed tow trucks with manual transmissions to transport vehicles across diverse locations.
• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections, including basic troubleshooting and minor mechanical repairs when necessary.
• Load and unload vehicles with precision, ensuring safe vehicle handling and adherence to safety standards.
• Perform vehicle recovery towing using specialized techniques for different scenarios, including accident scenes or breakdowns.
• Maintain clear communication with dispatch teams and customers to coordinate pickups and deliveries efficiently.
• Follow all safety procedures related to driving, cargo securement, and vehicle maintenance to ensure a safe work environment.

Experience

• Proven experience with flatbed or tow trucks.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with automotive diagnostics and minor repair skills for trucks and vehicles.
• Familiarity with automotive repair procedures and basic vehicle troubleshooting techniques.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to manage conflicts professionally when needed.
• Prior experience in vehicle recovery towing, car towing, or mechanical work for truck drivers is highly desirable.

Job Types: Full-time, Commission

Pay: $29.14 - $35.10 per hour
