Fleet and Workshop Assistant

We are looking for a Fleet & Workshop Assistant to provide support to our management team.

The ideal candidate will have:

• A mechanical background or experience within a garage/workshop environment
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
• Excellent organisation and time-management skills
• The ability to follow instructions while also working independently and using their own initiative
• A professional and friendly telephone manner
• Forklift licence beneficial but not essential

Key duties will include:

• Assisting with the servicing, maintenance and upkeep of our fleet, including vans and LGV/HGV trucks
• Supporting the workshop and management team with day-to-day tasks
• Stock taking and stock control
• Keeping the yard and workshop areas clean, tidy and organised
• General workshop and fleet support
• Administrative duties as required

This is a varied role suited to someone who is organised, practical and reliable, with the ability to work both as part of a team and independently.

Pay: €38,000.00 per year
