What they need
Key Duties1. Fleet Operations Management
- Monitor and manage all company vehicles (trucks, vans, ).
- Allocate vehicles to departments or routes for optimal utilisation.
2. Maintenance Scheduling & Coordination
- Coordinate with workshops or external service providers.
- Implement preventive maintenance programmes.
3. Route Planning & Optimization
- Plan efficient routes considering distance, traffic, fuel consumption, and delivery schedules.
- Adjust routes based on real‑time traffic or weather conditions.
- Use telematics/GPS tools to optimise routes and reduce costs.
4. Driver Administration & Management.
- Monitor driving behaviour and enforce safety standards. statomgroup.co.uk
5. Compliance & Regulatory Oversight
- Ensure adherence to national, state, and local transport laws.
- Manage permits, licences, and regulatory documentation.
6. Performance Monitoring & Data Analysis
- Record and analyse fleet data (fuel efficiency, mileage, downtime).
- Identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements
Pay: R8 000,00 per month
