We're looking for a driven and people-focused Fleet Controller to help our driver network, optimise fleet performance, and ensure outstanding service delivery standards are consistently met.

The roleBased at our Christchurch branch, the Fleet Controller is responsible for the management and performance of our courier fleet. This role is also critical in the delivery of our premium services to customers. You'll work with the broader management team to ensure service standards are met and exceeded, through the upholding of service level goals and financial targets. Providing hands-on assistance where needed and getting involved with service analysis and reporting, you'll strengthen the link between our drivers, Operations teams and customers.

This is a permanent full time position working 40 hours per week.

What you'll be doing

• Recruiting and maintaining a full fleet of contractor drivers
• Training drivers towards service excellence
• Regular vehicle and contractor audits
• Identifying and implementing improvement initiatives

• Experience in working with operational performance metrics
• Knowledge and experience in freight/logistics industries
