Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and organized Fleet Coordinator / Controller to manage the daily operations of our construction equipment and heavy machinery rental business. The candidate will be responsible for coordinating equipment deployment, monitoring fleet utilization, communicating with clients, and preparing operational reports for management.

Key Responsibilities

⁠- ⁠Manage and coordinate daily fleet operations, including equipment allocation, scheduling, dispatch, and collection.

⁠ ⁠- Monitor equipment availability, location, utilization, maintenance schedules, and operational status.

- ⁠Communicate with clients regarding equipment requirements, rental arrangements, delivery schedules, and operational concerns.

⁠ - Possess sound technical knowledge of construction equipment and heavy machinery to understand client requirements and recommend suitable equipment.

⁠ ⁠- Coordinate with equipment operators, drivers, technicians, and site personnel to ensure smooth equipment deployment and operations.

⁠ ⁠- Maintain accurate fleet records, equipment movement logs, rental agreements, and supporting documentation.

⁠ ⁠- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports, including equipment utilization, rental status, downtime, and fleet performance.

⁠ ⁠- Coordinate preventive maintenance, inspections, and equipment repairs to minimize downtime.

⁠ ⁠- Monitor rental contract durations, extensions, and equipment return schedules.

⁠ - Resolve day-to-day operational issues and escalate significant concerns to management.

⁠ ⁠- Liaise with the Accounts Department regarding rental records, supporting documents, and invoicing requirements.

⁠ ⁠- Provide regular updates and reports directly to the General Manager / Managing Director.

Qualifications & Requirements

⁠ ⁠- Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in fleet coordination, construction equipment rental, or heavy machinery operations.

⁠ - ⁠Good knowledge of construction machinery, equipment specifications, applications, and operational requirements.

⁠ ⁠- Previous experience in the UAE construction equipment rental industry is preferred.

⁠ ⁠- Strong client communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

⁠ - ⁠Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office for operational tracking and reporting.

⁠ ⁠- Ability to multitask, work independently, and manage operational priorities.

⁠- ⁠Good written and verbal communication skills in English.

⁠ ⁠- Chinese / Mandarin language proficiency is an added advantage.

⁠ - ⁠Valid UAE driving license is preferred.

Pay: AED4,500.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
