Fleet Coordination Executive

About the role

EA Detailer is seeking a Fleet Coordination Executive to join our operations team in the Central Region. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in ensuring the seamless coordination and management of our fleet operations. As Fleet Coordination Executive, you will be responsible for optimising fleet performance, maintaining rigorous quality assurance standards, and ensuring all vehicles meet our exacting operational requirements. This role is essential to our commitment to delivering exceptional service to our clients whilst maintaining the highest standards of vehicle maintenance and logistics efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinating fleet scheduling and vehicle assignments to maximise operational efficiency and client satisfaction
• Monitoring vehicle maintenance schedules and ensuring all fleet assets undergo timely servicing and inspections
• Conducting quality assurance checks on vehicles prior to deployment to ensure they meet company standards and regulatory requirements
• Maintaining detailed records of fleet performance, maintenance history, and compliance documentation
• Liaising with maintenance teams, drivers, and clients to resolve fleet-related issues promptly and professionally
• Tracking fuel consumption, vehicle utilisation rates, and other key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement
• Supporting the management of vehicle inventory and coordinating repairs or replacements as necessary
• Ensuring compliance with transport regulations, safety standards, and quality control protocols
• Reporting on fleet performance metrics and providing recommendations for operational improvements

What we're looking for

• Proven experience in fleet management, logistics coordination, or a related transport and operations role
• Strong knowledge of quality assurance and control procedures, particularly within the manufacturing, transport or logistics industry
• Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
• Proficiency in using fleet management software and Microsoft Office applications
• Sound understanding of vehicle maintenance requirements and transport regulations
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across teams
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate records and documentation
• Problem-solving capabilities and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A valid driving licence is necessary
• Experience with quality assurance documentation and compliance procedures is highly valued
