About the role

We are seeking a Fleet Coordinator to join our logistics team in Eastwood, Quezon City, Metro Manila on a full-time basis. This is a pivotal position within our Fleet Management department, responsible for the smooth, efficient, and safe operation of our vehicle fleet. The Fleet Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring that our distribution network operates seamlessly, supporting the timely delivery of our products to customers whilst maintaining cost efficiency and regulatory compliance. You will work closely with drivers, maintenance teams, and operations management to optimize fleet performance and contribute to the achievement of our logistics objectives.

Key responsibilities

1. Coordinate and schedule vehicle maintenance, repairs, and servicing in accordance with manufacturer specifications and company policies to ensure optimal fleet condition
2. Monitor vehicle utilization, fuel consumption, and operational costs to identify opportunities for improvement and cost reduction
3. Maintain accurate records of vehicle movements, maintenance history, driver logs, and fleet documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
4. Assist in route planning and optimization to maximize delivery efficiency and minimize fuel expenditure
5. Track vehicle locations and deliveries using fleet management systems and provide regular reports to management
6. Coordinate communication between drivers, maintenance personnel, and warehouse staff to resolve operational issues promptly
7. Support the onboarding and training of new drivers on vehicle operation procedures, safety protocols, and company policies
8. Conduct vehicle inspections and ensure compliance with safety standards and legal requirements
9. Manage spare parts inventory and coordinate with suppliers to maintain adequate stock levels
10. Prepare comprehensive fleet reports detailing performance metrics, maintenance costs, fuel usage, and other key operational indicators

What we're looking for

1. Proven experience in fleet coordination, fleet management, or a similar logistics support role within a transportation or distribution environment
2. Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures, safety regulations, and fleet management best practices
3. Proficiency with fleet management software systems and computer systems, including Microsoft Office applications
4. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities with keen attention to detail
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to coordinate effectively with diverse team members
6. Knowledge of road safety regulations, vehicle compliance standards, and transportation legislation in the Philippines
7. Problem-solving aptitude with the ability to respond quickly to operational challenges
8. High school diploma or equivalent; relevant vocational training or certification in fleet management or logistics is advantageous
9. Valid driver's licence and ability to drive is preferred
10. Experience in the manufacturing, beverages, or FMCG (fast-moving consumer goods) industry is desirable
