Monitor driver license status, expiration dates, CDL class, endorsements, restrictions, and medical certificate expirations; follow up with drivers on renewals; and keep driver files complete and audit-ready.
- Apply working knowledge of Illinois and Wisconsin commercial vehicle rules, and assist with permits and filings such as UCR and IFTA.
- Process vehicle and trailer registrations and renewals in Illinois, Wisconsin, and Indiana, including IRP and Form 2290, and track expiration dates.
- Manage I-PASS accounts, including transponder assignments, account funding, statement review, and resolving violations.
- Use Motive daily to monitor logs, HOS violations, DVIRs, and vehicle data, and support ELD setup and driver onboarding.
- Schedule maintenance, track fleet expenses and fuel card activity, and provide documentation for insurance and claims.
- Be a go-to contact for drivers on credentials, tolls, ELD, and paperwork, and help support safety meetings and training.
Qualifications & Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience in trucking, fleet, dispatch, or transportation compliance, or equivalent training.
- Working knowledge of DOT/FMCSA regulations and Illinois and Wisconsin requirements, including driver qualification files and MVR review.
- Familiarity with vehicle registration (IRP, IFTA, state registration) in Illinois, Wisconsin, and Indiana.
- Experience with Motive or a similar ELD platform, and with I-PASS or other toll accounts (or a willingness to learn quickly).
- Strong organization, attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines; proficiency in Microsoft Office.
