FleetCare Xpress provides on-site preventive maintenance services for commercial and rental car fleets. Instead of operating as a traditional repair shop, our technicians perform maintenance directly at our clients’ locations, including rental car facilities, fleet yards, and vehicle staging areas.

Our goal is to help fleet operators keep vehicles safe, maintained, and ready for service while minimizing downtime. Our services include oil changes, tire rotations, fluid checks, basic inspections, and other routine preventive maintenance. We coordinate our technicians, schedules, equipment, and service priorities based on each client’s daily vehicle volume and operational needs.

Position Overview

FleetCare Xpress is seeking an organized, proactive, and results-driven Fleet Maintenance Operations Supervisor to oversee our preventive maintenance operations and manage the day-to-day relationship with our clients.

This is a hands-on operations and account management position. The Fleet Maintenance Operations Supervisor serves as the connection between the client and our field technicians, ensuring that maintenance priorities are understood, technicians are properly scheduled, vehicles are serviced on time, and operational issues are resolved quickly.

The person in this role will be responsible for managing technician schedules and performance, monitoring vehicle maintenance activity, coordinating resources, communicating with clients, and ensuring that FleetCare Xpress consistently meets service expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned fleet and rental car clients
• Build and maintain strong day-to-day relationships with client managers and operational teams
• Communicate regularly with clients regarding vehicle volume, maintenance priorities, service needs, and operational concerns
• Coordinate on-site preventive maintenance services for rental and commercial fleet vehicles
• Oversee services including oil changes, tire rotations, fluid checks, inspections, and other routine preventive maintenance
• Coordinate and supervise automotive maintenance technicians working at client locations
• Create technician schedules and daily work assignments based on client demand and vehicle volume
• Adjust staffing, schedules, and service priorities as operational needs change
• Monitor technician attendance, productivity, performance, and quality of work
• Track vehicles requiring service and ensure maintenance is completed within expected timelines
• Monitor completed, pending, and upcoming preventive maintenance services
• Follow up on vehicles that remain pending or require additional attention
• Respond promptly to client requests and resolve day-to-day operational issues
• Maintain accurate service, vehicle, staffing, and operational records
• Prepare reports and provide operational updates to company leadership and clients
• Coordinate the availability of tools, equipment, oil, filters, tires, parts, and other required supplies
• Help ensure technicians have the resources needed to perform services efficiently
• Ensure employees follow FleetCare Xpress procedures, client requirements, and safety standards
• Support technician onboarding, training, coaching, and performance management
• Identify opportunities to improve productivity, service quality, workflow, and client satisfaction

Qualifications

• Previous experience in operations management, account management, fleet maintenance, automotive services, or a related field
• Previous supervisory, team leadership, or field operations experience preferred
• Basic understanding of automotive preventive maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, fluid services, and vehicle inspections
• Strong client relationship and customer service skills
• Strong leadership and team coordination abilities
• Excellent organizational, scheduling, and time-management skills
• Ability to manage multiple technicians, vehicles, priorities, and client requests in a fast-paced environment
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to respond quickly to changing operational demands
• Comfortable using computers, spreadsheets, scheduling tools, and operational reporting systems
• Valid U.S. driver’s license
• English proficiency required
• Bilingual in English/Spanish or English/Portuguese preferred
