Fleet Manager

About the role

Rida is a logistics technology company supporting healthcare, retail, and enterprise delivery operations across Singapore. We're looking for a Fleet Manager to oversee our vehicle fleet operations supporting service delivery across the company. This role is central to ensuring our drivers are well-trained, our fleet capacity matches demand across all business lines (with telemedicine as our primary focus), and our operations run efficiently across Singapore. The role may also require hands-on delivery driving during periods of high demand or staffing gaps.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver driver training programs, covering safety standards, service protocols, and operational procedures.

• Forecast and manage fleet size projections across all company services, including planning and executing fleet shifts to meet demand — particularly for our telemedicine operations.

• Coordinate vehicle maintenance schedules, compliance, and licensing requirements.

• Liaise with cross-functional teams (Operations, HR, Finance) to align fleet capacity with business needs across service lines.

• Manage relationships with drivers, contractors, and partners as needed.

• Step in to perform deliveries personally when driver coverage is short or demand spikes.

Requirements

• Prior experience in healthcare logistics, last-mile delivery, e-commerce logistics, or courier operations would be an advantage.
• Able to communicate clearly and professionally with drivers, recipients, and internal teams.
• Comfortable handling WhatsApp messages, phone calls, and multiple live delivery cases at the same time.

• Strong proficiency in Excel and comfort working with operational/fleet data.
• Experience developing or delivering training programs (driver training a plus).
• Valid Singapore driving license (Class 3 for car, Class 3/4 for lorry, or Class 2/2A/2B for motorcycle) preferred.

Working arrangements

• Full-time role based in Singapore.
• Shift-based work may be required depending on operational needs.
• Weekend or public holiday support may be required when rostered.

Ideal candidate

The ideal candidate is reliable, hands-on, and organised. You should be comfortable managing driver schedules, tracking fleet data in Excel, and stepping in to drive yourself when the team needs extra coverage.
