Fleet Manager

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee the overall management and daily operations of the company’s fleet of vehicles and drivers.
• Manage driver scheduling, dispatching, deployment, attendance, and daily operational activities.
• Monitor fleet utilization, vehicle availability, and operational efficiency to ensure smooth transportation operations.
• Oversee preventive maintenance, repairs, servicing, and overall vehicle condition.
• Assess basic vehicle issues and coordinate with mechanics, repair shops, or service providers for proper troubleshooting and resolution.
• Manage and oversee the proper handling of vehicle accidents, including incident reporting, documentation, investigation, and coordination with concerned parties.
• Ensure all vehicles are properly maintained and available for daily operations.
• Monitor driver compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and fleet regulations.
• Maintain accurate records and reports related to vehicles, drivers, maintenance, accidents, and fleet performance.
• Coordinate with Operations, HR, Finance, and other departments regarding fleet-related concerns.
• Identify operational issues and recommend improvements to increase fleet efficiency and reduce vehicle downtime and operating costs.
• Lead and supervise fleet personnel and ensure that fleet operations are aligned with company requirements.
• Perform other fleet management duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Transportation, or a related field is preferred.
• With proven experience in fleet management, preferably handling company-owned vehicles and drivers.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle structure, maintenance, and basic troubleshooting.
• Experienced in driver scheduling, dispatching, and fleet operations.
• Knowledgeable in vehicle accident handling and related procedures.
• Strong leadership, organizational, problem-solving, and coordination skills.
• Good command of English as a working language.
• Willing to work onsite and handle operational concerns as needed.
