About the role

Yacht Sourching is seeking an experienced Fleet Manager to join our team in Bali on a full-time basis. This is a strategic position responsible for overseeing and managing our fleet of vehicles to ensure efficient, cost-effective, and safe operations. As Fleet Manager, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our operational capabilities and supporting the smooth delivery of services across our business. This role requires on-site presence in Bali and offers the opportunity to make a direct impact on our logistical efficiency and service quality.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the maintenance, repair and servicing of all fleet vehicles to ensure they remain in optimal working condition
• Monitor vehicle performance, fuel consumption and mileage to identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements
• Manage vehicle schedules, allocations and routing to maximise operational efficiency
• Ensure compliance with all local transport regulations, licensing requirements and safety standards
• Recruit, train and supervise drivers and support staff involved in fleet operations
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for all vehicles, including maintenance logs, insurance policies and service histories
• Manage fleet budgets, procurement of spare parts and negotiation with service providers and suppliers
• Conduct vehicle inspections and safety audits to minimise risk and ensure driver compliance
• Respond to and resolve vehicle breakdowns and emergencies promptly
• Report on fleet performance metrics and recommend improvements to senior management

What we're looking for

• Proven experience managing fleet operations, ideally in a hospitality, service or transportation environment
• Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance, repairs and mechanical requirements
• Familiarity with local transport regulations and compliance requirements in Bali or similar jurisdictions
• Proficiency in fleet management software and computer systems
• Excellent organisational and administrative skills with attention to detail
• Strong leadership abilities and experience supervising team members
• Budget management experience and cost control expertise
• Problem-solving capabilities and the ability to respond effectively to operational challenges
• Valid driving licence and preferably experience driving commercial or larger vehicles
• Excellent communication skills in English; knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is advantageous
• Physical capability to conduct vehicle inspections and walk-throughs
