Pay: From $40,000.00 per year, based on experience

About the Role
Rudolph Freight Systems is a respected truckload carrier based in Murray, KY, running a dedicated truckload fleet of about 150 drivers. We’re part of the family-owned Rudolph group of companies, serving customers since 1981. We’re looking for an organized, people-focused Fleet Manager to keep our drivers moving and our freight on time.

In this role, you’ll be the main point of contact for a group of drivers. You’ll coordinate pickups and deliveries, track driver hours and miles, and work side by side with our Load Planners to keep the operation running smoothly. If you’re good at juggling priorities, solving problems on the fly, and building strong working relationships, this is a great fit.

What You’ll Do

• Support our drivers: Build positive relationships, communicate clearly, and recognize good performance to keep the team productive, safe and motivated.
• Coordinate loads: Work with drivers and Load Planners to make sure shipments are picked up and delivered on time.
• Schedule and dispatch: Manage truck scheduling, dispatching and routing to meet customer and company goals.
• Track hours and miles: Monitor driver hours of service and mileage to keep drivers compliant and loads on schedule.
• Oversee maintenance: Make sure trucks receive regular maintenance and annual inspections, and work with our maintenance team when issues come up.
• Help control fuel costs: Guide drivers to the most cost-effective fueling options.
• Verify driver pay: Review weekly driver pay and settlements for accuracy.
• Promote safety and compliance: Monitor adherence to safety policies, DOT regulations and safe driving practices.
• Other duties: Pitch in wherever needed to support fleet operations.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong multitasking and time-management skills
• Clear, professional written and verbal communication
• Good problem-solving and decision-making under pressure
• Comfortable with Microsoft Excel and other office software
• Experience in fleet management, dispatch, logistics or trucking preferred, but not required — we’ll train the right person
• Familiarity with DOT hours-of-service rules or ELDs a plus
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
