FLEET MECHANIC

Responsible for performing maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of vehicles and mechanical equipment, including cars, trucks, and other automotive units. Ensures that all repairs and preventive maintenance are conducted safely and in accordance with manufacturer’s guidelines to maintain equipment reliability and efficiency. Performs inspections, breakdown and emergency roadside repairs, welding, and fabrication of parts as required. Performs other related duties as assigned by the Chief Plant Engineer.
