We are seeking a skilled and reliable Fleet Mechanic to join our team and support our fleet and equipment operations.

Position Summary
The Fleet Mechanic will inspect, diagnose, maintain, and repair a wide range of company vehicles and equipment, including gas and diesel light-, medium-, and heavy-duty trucks, concrete pumps, small engines, and general construction machinery. Strong diagnostic skills in electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems are highly desirable. Teamwork, safety, and dependability are essential to this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair:
• • Gas and diesel light, medium, and heavy-duty trucks (dump trucks, service trucks, concrete mixers)- Concrete pumps, specifically Putzmeister TK pump systems- Construction equipment (skid steers, loaders, trailers, etc.)- Small engines (generators, saws, pressure washers, compactors, etc.)
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance and keep equipment in safe working condition.
• Conduct inspections, including DOT-related evaluations.
• Maintain accurate service logs and documentation.
• Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment safely and effectively.
• Perform occasional field repairs and respond to on-call service needs.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• 2–5 years of experience as a mechanic (fleet, diesel, or construction equipment preferred) Certification(s) preferred but not required.
• Strong working knowledge of gas/diesel engines, hydraulic/electrical/pneumatic systems, heavy-duty trucks, construction equipment, concrete pumps, and small engines.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• CDL preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift 50–75 lbs and safely perform physical work.
• Own tools preferred.
• Reliable, punctual team player.

Working Conditions

• Shop and field work environments.
• Exposure to heat, cold, and rain.
• May require on-call work, overtime, and occasional weekends.
• Must follow OSHA and company safety procedures.
