Fleet Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Fleet Mechanic to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a diverse fleet of vehicles and equipment to ensure safety, reliability, and peak performance.

This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong troubleshooting skills and hands-on mechanical experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive diagnostics to identify mechanical and electrical issues
• Conduct preventive maintenance and routine inspections
• Repair and service engines, hydraulic systems, brake systems, suspension, and electrical components
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical failures efficiently
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation of work performed
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures
• Collaborate with team members to minimize vehicle downtime
• Stay current with industry advancements, tools, and repair techniques

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a fleet mechanic, diesel mechanic, automotive technician, or heavy equipment mechanic
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Experience with engines, hydraulics, brake systems, and electrical troubleshooting
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Comfortable working in a shop environment and outdoors as needed
• Standing, bending, kneeling, and working with tools for extended periods
