We are seeking a highly skilled and energetic Fleet Mechanic to join our dynamic maintenance team. Duties

• Perform comprehensive inspections and diagnostics on trucks, trailers, and other heavy machinery
• Conduct repairs and maintenance on mechanical systems including transmissions, hydraulics, suspensions, brakes, shocks & struts, air brake systems, and HVAC components.
• Troubleshoot and repair vehicle systems, engines (diesel engines included), powertrain components, and vehicle systems with precision.
• Maintain detailed records of all repairs performed, including service logs, incident reports, and maintenance schedules to ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Assist in equipment assembly and perform heavy lifting tasks safely during repairs or installations.
• Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with drivers and team members regarding vehicle status and repair timelines.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a heavy equipment mechanic or automotive technician .
• Strong mechanical knowledge across a broad range of machinery tractor-trailers, and heavy trucks.
• Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic tools for effective repairs.
• Knowledge of diesel mechanics, transmissions, hydraulics, suspension systems, HVAC systems, tire service.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on safety standards and quality workmanship.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35.0 – 50.0 per week
