Fleet Mechanic

Chariots for Hire is seeking Full-Time entry level Fleet Mechanic/Helper for buses, that have at least 2-5 years of fleet maintenance knowledge or comparable diesel and gas mechanical experience. Must have experience with buses. Chariots for Hire has over 75 late model units. Mechanics get paid Federal Holidays with Top pay and benefits apply.

Job Type: Full-Time

Pay: $24.00- $28.00 per hour depending on experience

Schedule:

• Full time - Monday-Friday **REQUIRED**, potential for overtime and weekends
• 7am-4pm Flexibility provided, if needed.

License/Certification/Requirements:

• Diesel and Gas medium and heavy duty preferred
• Knowledge of Ford, Detroit, and Cummins, preferred

Experience:

• Diesel engine repair: 2-5 years (Preferred)
• Mechanical knowledge: 2-5 years (Required)
• A/C (Preferred)
• Ford 6.7L (Preferred)
• Fabrication skills (Preferred)
• Proficient with electrical diagnosis (Preferred)
• Diagnostic software (Required)
• Maintenance software (Required)
